Project Description
LAWRENCEVILLE COLLEGE CORRIDOR
The city of Lawrenceville has planned a 2.2-mile linear park, dubbed the “college corridor,” which will connect Georgia Gwinnett College and the city’s downtown district. The project will include streetscapes, a two-lane roadway, multi-use trails, bike path, roundabouts and landscaping. Their vision is to capitalize on the college’s enormous economic impact and connect it to the county’s core to create Gwinnett’s first, unique “college town.”
PROJECT INFORMATION
Our team was responsible for this project’s pedestrian lighting; the work included all-LED decorative pole lighting. Though the existing underground utilities posed a challenge, we were able to work around these conditions and help the city encourage pedestrian traffic and improve aesthetics.
