Project Description
ATLANTA UNITED TRAINING GROUND
Atlanta United is a championship Major League Soccer team whose home turf is at the state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The players needed a practice facility to match, and they found one in this Marietta-based complex—a three-acre site with a 30,000 sq ft headquarters and six full-size practice fields.
PROJECT INFORMATION
Our work provided Musco Sports lighting for all six practice fields, including both natural grass and FieldTurf surfaces. By using LEDs in the pole light system, we ensured the facility is energy efficient and usable year-round. The field lighting was the final touch on the high-profile home of Atlanta United’s first team, club staff, youth academy, visiting clubs and observers.
